How to double money you ask? Many say it is impossible without hacking the game's code. I found a way of doubling money
very easily. Here's how to do it:
1) Finish the Wanted! quest and kill 800 black knights to obtain the rank of Adept
2) Buy a full set of White Armour (Full helm, Plate body, Plate legs, Long Sword, Kite Shield, Boots and gloves) for
10k.
3) Go and sell it to people for 20k in populated worlds ie. 1000 people or more in Falador
4) Repeat the process until you have enough money to merchant other things (like more White Armour).
I made an easy 200k in an hour by doing this. And so can you just by doing this.
