As many people have e-mailed me and asked me about why the site's url is rsironmoneymakers.tripod.com and it is
called
G M0n3y's Realm Of RuneScape. Your answer is here. My old RuneScape clan was called "The RuneScape
Iron Clan" (Which the leader was a wuss and gave up the clan) and the original name of the website was
RuneScape Iron
Clan Money Making Website and after the clan collapsed, I re-named the website to
G M0n3y's Realm Of RuneScape.
There you have your answer people.
Another question I would like to answer. People have also e-mailed me asking how many people work on this website. I
am proud to say that it is 3 hard working RuneScape players. I (the lord G M0n3y) do most of the work on the site and update.
I will not give out the names of my staff members for their privacy. I only reveal myself to the public as G M0n3y as it is
my real-life nickname and internet username.
Galaxy_Star83 of Seattle Asks: Hey G M0n3y, why did you go with Lycos instead of Freewebs. Did you try Freewebs
or what?
Well yes indeed I tried Freewebs. I currently have 6 websites on Freewebs. The main reason why I chose Lycos instead
of Freewebs is because you can have infinite pages with Lycos. With Freewebs, you can only have 7 pages on a free account.
To be brutally honest, I never understood the Lycos building system up until late last year. I must confess that Freewebs
web-builder is easier to learn but you can do more with Lycos. You might only have 20mb of space with Lycos compared to 40mb
with Freewebs, but all that matters is the web-pages. If I was going to build another website (currently in progress) I would
definitely choose Lycos.
Jack Slater of Oslo, Norway asks: Howdy! I wanna know why you don't update the site as often as you used
to. I was coming back for weeks and the site hadn't been updated. Was this because of laziness or what?
The answer to that is definately: Maybe!
No really, it wasn't laziness, just that I have been so damn busy. I was so busy trying to achieve level 100 combat in
RuneScape to remember that I even had a site. Then when I was about to reach level 101 combat, I though "Dammit, Iv'e forgotten
to update my site!!" and that's why. Now Iv'e updated it and it's all good now.
Ronniec20 of Lubbock, Texas asks: This is a great site. But I noticed that it was done with the site builder.
Do you actually know HTML or what?
Thanks to one Mr. Shane Oldfield (My School Assisstant Principle), I was able to study HTML for about 4 hours for
one day. So if I really wanted to, I would go on FreeWebs and use their HTML builder (The HTML builder on FreeWebs is much
better than Tripod). Basically, I learned how to insert background images to complete page linking and Java inserts. Pretty
cool huh? (Yes I learned all this in about 4 hours).
