Start: Begin by speaking with Morgan in Draynor Village.
Requirements: Able to defeat a level 34 monster.
What You Need: A Stake, hammer, some Garlic and a beer.

Getting Started

Firstly, speak to Morgan who can be found in Draynor Village. He's inside of the house in the center of the village, and he says that a Vampire has been attacking people throughout the countryside. Tell him that you will help, and he tells you to find Dr. Harlow in the Jolly Boar Inn.

Finding Dr. Harlow

To find the Jolly Boar Inn, follow the north road out of Varrock for a short distance, and then head east along the road until you find the Inn. Harlow can be found at the bar, but before speaking with him buy a beer. Tell him that Morgan is in trouble, and when he tells you to buy him a beer, just say "OK Mate."

After he's had a drink, Dr. Harlow tells you that you need 3 things in order to kill a Vampire. He gives you a wooden Stake, to kill the vampire with, and he tells you that you also need a hammer to pound the stake into the Vampire's chest. He also says that you should get a clove of Garlic to weaken the Vampire.

Slaying the Vampire

First, head back to Varrock and buy a Hammer from the General Store for 1gp. Now go back to Morgan's house in Draynor Village. There should be a Cupboard upstairs on the wall to the west side of the house. Open it, and then search it to get some Garlic. I would also suggest bringing a few pieces of food with you.

Now that you have all the needed items to slay a Vampire, it's time to kill him! From Draynor Village, head north along the road until you reach the Mansion. Be careful when walking past the dead trees, some of them may attack you! Once inside, walk over to the grey-checkered room and down the staircase to face the creature.

Note: You should be around level 27 or higher before you take on the Vampire, or it may be much more difficult to complete this quest.

Attack the level 34 Vampire, eating food when your hitpoints get low. As you strike the finishing blow against him, you should use the stake with the Vampire to finish him off.
