Start: Speak with the Duke of Lumbridge about a quest.
Requirements: None!

Getting Started

First off, head to Lumbridge and speak to Duke Horacio. He can be found upstairs in the castle, and ask him about a quest. He gives you an Air Talisman and tells you to bring it to the Wizard's Tower. The tower is southwest of Lumbridge and directly south of Draynor Market.

The Quest

Once you arrive at the Tower, go down the ladder and talk to Sedridor in the next room. Give him the Air Talisman that the Duke gave to you, and he gives you a rather large Research Package. Bring this pack to Aurbury, the Rune-seller located just south of Varrock's eastern bank. Give him the package, and then talk to him again. He will give you some Research Notes  to bring to Sedridor in the Wizard's Tower, so take them to him. After handing him the notes, he tells you about Talismans, Rune Essence,  Temples, and a quick overview of RuneCrafting. Now you're finished the quest! 

Rewards

• You can now mine Rune Essence by talking to either Sedridor or Aurbury, and ask them them to teleport you to the Rune Essence.
• Now you can make your own Runes with your RuneCrafting skill!
• 1 Quest Point
